CHULMLEIGH College held a socially-distanced whole school Remembrance Day Service on November 11, to show gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to enable those following to live in peace and freedom.

The whole school assembled in their year group "bubbles", and after a short speech from Executive Headteacher Mr Johnson, Head Boy Jamie Ryan and Head Girl Eve Scarbrough gave readings.

Then "The Last Post" was played and two minutes’ silence was observed.

On Remembrance Sunday, it is tradition that the College Head Boy and Head Girl lay a wreath at the War Memorial in Chulmleigh, however this year Mr Johnson attended alone for Covid reasons.
