A SHOWER of rain just as CODS members were about to kick-off a two-and-a-half hour performance of favourite Christmas melodies and entertainment, did not dampen the spirit of the occasion.

CODS members presented the open-air entertainment in Crediton’s Town Square from 11am on Sunday, December 20.

The programme of music catered for everyone’s taste and included many favourites.

Talent shone through with some amazing vocal performances, some serious, some amusing, and even an appearance of Father Christmas, a reindeer, a fairy, Prince, pantomime dame and even a Christmas Elf.

Thanks went to Jack from Crediton Arts Centre for supplying the technical equipment for the event.

Sadly the early rain shower may have deterred some audience members from attending.
