THE Lamb Inn, Sandford is celebrating again after winning an award for the "Best Pub" in the casual dining category of the prestigious "Food & Drink Devon Awards 2016."

The ceremony, which was held on Monday, October 10 at the Deer Park Country House Hotel, was hosted by "BBC Radio 2’s" food and drink broadcaster, Nigel Barden.
The Lamb Inn, a 16th century former coaching house, has won a spate of awards in the last year and was previously awarded runner-up in "Alastair Sawday’s 2014/15 Best Pub in Britain," was listed in "The Times 2016 Britain’s Best Summer Pubs" and late last year the "Daily Mail’s The 20 Best British Country Pubs."
The historic country inn boasts open fires, low ceilings, comfy sofas, stunning bedrooms and a conference room.
Situated in The Square at Sandford, the Lamb Inn, a community pub, a boutique hotel and an award winning restaurant offers something for everyone.
During November they are upgrading some kitchen equipment to help speed up service and improve the veg selection with their main courses. They are also looking for new team members in the kitchen – applicants must have some chef experience,
