THE Children’s Corner at Crediton Parish Church was recently refurbished with a new table, chairs and storage, drawing materials, books and a lovely Noah’s Ark with knitted animals.

The suggestion to do this came from the Rev Helen Drever, Assistant Curate, when funds became available from a legacy for children’s work from the late Dennis Allen.  Further funds to complete the project came from the Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface, the Sunday Club, the church Governors and two anonymous donations for which Helen and the church are very grateful.

The knitted animals for the Ark are being made by Mothers’ Union members, Tracey Jones and Anne Williams.

Children attending services and baptisms in the church should all enjoy what’s on offer in the Children’s Corner.
