CHERITON Fitzpaine Welcome Club recently held a “Light Lunch” cooked by Roy Clayton, which was well-attended.

Helper Brenda Fowler had four young assistants from the Primary School, who welcomed diners, served meals and sat with the adults.

Both the older people and the children always enjoy these occasions. We are blessed with some marvellous helpers: cooks, driver, front of house, treasurer and washer-uppers, but we always need more.
