CREDITON Congregational Church was really excited to run its annual summer Holiday Club for more than 40 children.

Everyone enjoyed lots of singing, craft and games whilst looking at the Bible story of Joseph, linking it to the themes of Hope, Faith and Love.

Crediton Congregational Church has been running this Holiday Club for more than 20 years, seeing it as a positive contribution to the community.

This year’s Holiday Club has been made possible by more than 30 church volunteers of all ages giving up their time - even in a heat wave!

Although Holiday Club runs for just one week, newly-appointed Associate Pastor Dave Poulson said: “We always look forward to children and young people joining us at our exciting clubs and activities.

“They take place every week during term time, and everyone is welcome to join us”.
