PRIOR to this year’s Cheriton Fitzpaine Garden Club Summer Show a flower arranging session for children aged eight-12 was held in the Parish Hall, organised by Susan Tucker, Mary Nunn and Claire Cavill.

Firstly the children were told how to place the oasis in round containers and then placed foliage artistically and finally added flowers to complete their arrangements which they hoped to exhibit in the show.
