YEAR 4 children at Hayward’s Primary School in Crediton spent a day as Celts trying to decide whether they would fight against the Romans or co-exist.
There were lots of heated debates.
The children learnt a lot about how the Celts and Romans lived from some great artefacts, brought in by our visitor.
There was especially, a lot of interest in the weapons used by the Celts and the Romans. Even though it was really cold outside, they did their best to act as Celt and Roman soldiers.
The children had lunch round a fire, and had a great day.
