CHAIRMAN Brenda Fowler welcomed around a dozen members to the Annual Meeting of the Cheriton Fitzpaine Twinning Association.

The meeting was held in the Parish Hall and apologies was received from nine members.

There was nothing to report due to no events taking place during the year due to Covid.

Treasurer John Wilson said that the two fundraising events before Lockdown, a wine and cheese event and a cake stall, had raised £186 for funds.

Election of Officers: Brenda Fowler was re-elected as Chairman, as was John Wilson as Treasurer.

Sarah Fowler, who now lives in France, resigned as Secretary and Sue Newman kindly said she would take up the role. Geoff Yeandle will continue as President, and Jonathon Berg said he would continue as Bar Steward.

Subscriptions at £5 will continue, with children being free.

Discussions for the proposed visit to Bonnebosq on April 29, 2022, for the weekend, were discussed. Names are being taken of those who wish to go.

The Chairman proposed that a French Breakfast should be held in the New Year, date to be confirmed.

The evening concluded with a delicious Bring and Share Supper, with hot Mulled Wine, followed by warm mince pies and clotted cream, which was enjoyed by all.
