FOUR girls from Cheriton Fitzpaine Primary School walked down to the village Methodist Hall to help with the the recent Welcome Club lunch.

On such a cold day, they were kept busy taking charge of coats, hats, gloves and walking sticks.

After helping serve the meal, cooked by Maureen Evershed Martin and Rene Webber, they sat amongst the older people and patiently answered all their questions.
