MID Devon District Council’s planning team has made some changes to its walk-in advice service at Phoenix House, Tiverton.

The duty planning officer is now available for drop in sessions from 10am to 11am on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The council says that the reduction in hours the team will be available for drop-in sessions is to ensure that the busy planning team can work on current planning applications.

The council adds that the reduction is intended as a temporary measure until the team has recruited additional planning staff.

A technical officer will remain available to give advice over the telephone on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 12 noon.

When the officer is not able to assist, the call will then be passed to a planning officer for a call back.
