SCOUTS from the Crediton area gathered for a Scouts' sing-along in Crediton Town Square as part of the Crediton Festival.
There was some hearty singing as the sun went down.
The First Crediton Scout Group is celebrating 100 years of Scouting. The group was originally formed in 1909 as Redvers Buller's Own, after the founder of Scouting, Lord Baden-Powell, fought with General Sir Redvers Buller during the Boer War.
The group also enjoyed their centenary camp over the weekend at Downes, currently owned by Mr and Mrs Henry Parker. Mr Parker is the great, great nephew of General Sir Redvers Buller.
