EVERYONE’S finances are being squeezed from all sides: energy, food, fuel  … you name it, it’s going up.

To help address this, CHAT (Churches Housing Action Team) Debt Advice is offering free Cash Smart sessions, open to anyone who would like advice on how to make their money stretch as far as possible.

The course will be held over two days: Tuesday, June 28 and Tuesday, July 5 from 10am to 12.30pm at Crediton Congregational Church.

John Everitt, CHAT Volunteer Advisor - Debt and Money, explained: “The sessions will be very informal with the emphasis on sharing tips on subjects including Savvy Spending, Help with Bills, Savings, Credit and Loans.

“The aim is to help participants take control of their own finances with tips on how to avoid debt in the first place as well as how to deal with debt before it becomes overwhelming.”

Space is limited, so please contact CHAT to book a free space via: www.chatmid.org/contact-us/  or telephone for free on 0800 0590104.

Free refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits) will be served.
