A CREDITON estate agent is going to be attempting a world record for the "Longest marathon game of FIFA", a video gaming attempt, to raise money for The Bradley Lowery Foundation. The current record stands at 48 hours, 49 minutes.

Mike Thierens will be attempting the record in the Helmores estate agency offices in Crediton, starting on Friday, June 1.

All being well, Mike will finish the attempt on Sunday, June 3.

All money Mike raises through sponsorship and donations will go to The Bradley Lowery Foundation, which was set up in memory of Bradley who sadly lost his fight to Neuroblastoma last July.

The Foundation helps families who need to fundraise for treatment or equipment, not available on the NHS. It supports families through their fundraising campaign in order to help achieve their targets. It offers not only support, but grants where eligible.

Currently Mike is looking for two independent witnesses to assist by watching the attempt at the World Record.

Mike explained: "One of the witnesses needs a gaming background and must work in the gaming industry as a games designer, QA staff or video games retailer.

"If you are in the business or know anyone that is, please get in touch on 01363 777999 or email: [email protected] ."

Visitors will be welcome to pop into the estate agency office during Mike’s attempt and to give him a game (and help him stay awake!).
