THE youth section at Crediton Methodist Church have been sponsoring Oscar, a seven-year-old boy living in Uganda, for the past year to enable him to go to school and gain an education through a charity called Edukid.

They now have a fantastic opportunity to travel to Uganda to meet Oscar and experience the work Edukid does first-hand for Oscar, his family and many others.

In order to achieve this they need to raise funds to pay for their trip. Over the next 12 months the group will be undertaking a variety of fundraising events, the latest being a Murder Mystery Evening on Saturday, April 30 at the Methodist Church.

So, if you fancy a family-friendly night of mystery and drama and reckon you can help us solve the murder, then go along for cocktails in the drawing room at 4.30pm! A children’s play area will also be available.

Tickets are priced at £7 for adults, £4 for children and £20 for a family and include a cocktail, buffet tea and entertainment.
