PARENTS and friends had baked an array of lovely cakes, buns and tray bakes for the cake stall held on Friday afternoon (September 27) at Yeoford Primary School which raised £210 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Some cakes had been baked by pupils. One group had been working on a maths project using a recipe which they later used to bake cakes to see how their work ended.
A younger group had been doing the Gingerbread Man and made their own gingerbread men.
One Mum had baked an amazing chocolate layer cake decorated with flowers and stars which went to the highest bidder.
