IT has so far been a busy month for the 38-member Tedburn St Mary WI.

It has included a visit to Exeter Northcott Theatre to watch Daphne, the play about the life of Daphne du Maurier, which was very much enjoyed and further theatre trips are being planned.

The WI members also held a working party event to clear and tidy a green space in the village, enhancing the appearance of Tedburn St Mary.

There have been local walks organised and speaker at the July meeting was Matt Holland from North Dartmoor Search and Rescue.

This was enjoyed by members who expressed their gratitude for the service the team delivers.
