The main vegetable to grow is the humble potato and there are many different varieties to choose from - you don’t need a garden to grow them either! Potatoes can be grown in practically any soil type, but you should choose a sunny spot if possible and avoid frost pockets.

If you don’t have a garden you could try growing some potatoes in a potato grow bag or planter, which are all available at the centre.

Potatoes are great for your health, they are a good source of vitamin C, potassium, and are full of protein and fibre and we all know how versatile potatoes are. So why not give one of the easiest vegetables to grow a try – you will be amazed at how tasty potatoes that you have grown yourself can be!
