WE all love the wild birds and wildlife that live in our countryside and quite often we take them for granted.

Everyone has heard of the RSPB, but not many of us know exactly what they do and how they help the birds and wildlife in this country and further afield.

So, why not put a date in your diary for Friday, August 12 to visit Bow Garden & Aquatic Centre where the RSPB will be on site all day to give you wild bird and wildlife advice?

The guys from the RSPB have first hand experience as they all work out in the reserves, so if you have any questions or just want to know more then this is the ideal opportunity.

The RSPB stand will be located near the Centre’s new Waterside Café on August 12 and coincides with Fish ’n’ Chip Friday, so once you’ve had a chat with the RSPB, you can enjoy a piece of freshly cooked fish for lunch.

If fish isn’t your "cup of tea" there are plenty of alternatives to choose from on the menu, plus if you have any young children there is a soft play area especially for them.

Being a fully fledged Garden and Aquatic Centre, a wide range of gardening essentials are available from plants right through to garden machinery.

Anyone interested in fish is well catered for as the Centre has extensive stocks of Koi and pond fish along with more than 100 indoor tanks full of tropical, coldwater and marine fish along with inverts, corals and freshwater shrimp – plus all the equipment, feed and accessories you could need.

So make a date in your diary and get down to Bow Garden & Aquatic Centre.
