LOCAL apple juice producer, Andrew Harvey, from Redhill Farm, near Tiverton, a regular exhibitor at Crediton Farmers’ Market, has sent us this photo of his dog, Betty Boo, keeping an eye on the last load of apples from a bumper harvest at the farm, where they have just finished 12 weeks of picking and pressing apples.

Andrew said this has produced almost 10,000 bottles of apple juice following a bumper harvest.

"Was it good orchard work, good weather or good singing and shouting around the bonfire at our wassailing party early this year?" he asks.

"Whatever it was, there will be plenty of delicious juice on sale at the farmers’ market in the town square (next markets on Saturday, December 5 and Christmas market on Sunday, December  20, 10am to 1pm).

Redhill Farm apple juice is also on sale at the Grape and Grain off-licence and Four Seasons greengrocers in Crediton.
