EIGHT members of Cheriton Fitzpaine Brownies attended a parade service, held at the Methodist Church on Sunday, February 28, along with their Tawny Owls, Lynda Rolle and Linda Tonkin.

The service was led by Barbara Pratt, a former Guider and now a Volunteer at the village primary school.

The Theme of the Brownies’ Thinking Day had been “Connections”, and they were encouraged to think of ways in which they could reach out to others and be helpful.

The girls had also made some Perching Parrots for the Women’s World Day of Prayer, and learnt a little about Cuba, the country studied this year.
