THE Second Crediton Rainbows have been working on the Have Adventures Theme this term, Brown Owl, Caroline Isaac explained.

She continued: “They have taken part in a space adventure with teddy, they made passports, took part in astronaut training, made rockets, flew to different planets, made an alien, learnt about sundials, made a non-Newtonian fluid, learnt how to repair a puncture in their rocket and how hard it is to walk on the moon.

“As well as completing either their Agility or Nature badge at home to complete their Theme Award, as this is the second theme award the girls have been working on, once completed, it also gained them their Bronze Award.

“Fourteen girls have worked really hard and managed to complete the Bronze Award which is a great achievement.

“Well done to Annabelle, Chloe, Eden, Esmae, Eva, Evie, Evelyn, Florence, Grace, Julia, Leah, Lily, Seven and Thea.

“For four girls Esmae, Florence, Olivia and Violet it was also their last Rainbow meeting and they were awarded their Pot of Gold Badges to take onto Brownies in September.

“We hope they continue to enjoy their Guiding journey.”

Caroline also thanked all the leaders and parents who made this possible for the Rainbows.
