THE recent summer table top sale and coffee morning, held at the Victory Hall, Lapford, raised £390 for the charity, CRY which funds Care and Relief for the Young in Eastern Europe and now in other countries as well.

It was a busy and friendly morning with a number of stalls doing a brisk trade, refreshments, and a grand draw.

Organisers, Edwin Passmore, Grace Hill and the Rev Ray Avent expressed their thanks to everyone who supported the event, and said that their Christmas Table Top Sale, after 10 years, will now be their last. They look forward to seeing all their supporters again in December.
