THE Crediton MS Support Group have put together a booklet War Time Memories gathered from local people.

The idea of the booklet came about when Ray Wicker wrote his story of being a war evacuee for the groups newsletter and it was suggested that it would be a good idea to get stories from other people and make them into a booklet, which could be sold to raise funds for the Crediton MS Support Group.

Jenny Smith explained: "The first booklet has been completed and the group are now looking for more stories and photographs of war memories including most recent wars such as the Falklands War, The Gulf War or the conflict in Northern Ireland."

She added: "We would like to thank Ted and Jenny who put the booklet together and got them printed for us."
