LOCAL artist Bridgette Anderson will be exhibiting her art work at the East Town Café in Crediton from November 7 to 30.

To create her abstract paintings she has used brightly coloured oils on canvas.

Lucy Betts, East Town Café owner says that Bridgette’s paintings have created a positive energy within the cafe. Bridgette has shown her work across Devon and Somerset and most recently at the Appledore Book Festival.

She said that each painting has been inspired by the constantly changing colourful world.

She says through painting she has discovered an inner landscape which in itself is evolving.

Her paintings have been reproduced in prints, cards cushions and tapestries.

There will be a meet the artist evening on November 16, beginning at 7pm, where people can find out more about the inspiration behind Bridgette’s work.
