EVERY shop and supermarket in Crediton ran out of milk and bread this afternoon, Friday, March 2, much to the concern of some shoppers.
Many people hoped fresh supplies would be able to make it through and Crediton bakery’s hope to make more bread tonight to meet the demand and have enough for tomorrow.
Only 4x4 vehicles and lorries were able to negotiate the A377 through the town safely and other roads and side streets pretty much remained impassible to traffic.
