THE annual dog show held by members of Bow and District Twinning Association attracted 45 dogs spread over 145 entries in 11 classes.

This year the proceeds will be shared equally between the Association and the Association's charity for the year, Canine Partners,

Crediton veterinary surgeon Jonathan Wood was the judge for the show, held at Bow village hall.

Attending the show were two ladies who need the services of a canine partner to help them lead an independent lifestyle and during the day one of the ladies demonstrated how useful such a dog can be.

The chairman of the twinning association, Alison Blair, thanked all those who supported the show, those who supplied and served cream teas (which were much enjoyed) and those who helped to prepare the show and clear up afterwards.

Prizewinners were:

Best puppy - 1 Daisy (Abbie Reed), 2 Missy (Chelsea Grant), 3 Billy (Hugh Mathews).

Best veteran - 1 Cola (Simone and Jessie), 2 Muffin (Mel Woolacott), 3 Sakie (Anne Sandford).

Best junior handler - 1 Crystal (Melanie Cook), 2 Oscar (Lindsey Grant), 3 Millie (Abbi Reed).

Waggiest tail - 1 Ashley (Marian and Martin Ronstan). 2 Pippa (Paul Bridgeman), 3 Diesel (Mark and Rachel Smaldon).

Prettiest bitch - 1 Sasha (Clare Penny), 2 Dotty (Ian Johnston), 3 Fizz (Sarah Snell).

Best rescued dog - 1 Oscar (Lindsey Grant), 2 Ashley (Marian Ronstan), 3 Bramble (Ryan Cann).

Owner most like their dog - 1 Sally Penfold (Gemma), 2 David and Sylvia (Molly), 3 Jenny Symons (Coco).

Handsomest dog - 1 Titan (Ryan Sellman), 2 Jadon (Hilary Searle), 3 Pip (Kay Coppard).

Most appealing eyes - 1 Myha (Emma Reilly) , 2 Amber (Christine Pelly), 3 Missie (Lyndsey Grant).

Fastest Bonio eater - 1 Gemma (Sally Penfold), 2 Rowan (John Sadler), 3 Sadie (Jenny Vercoe).
