AS part of her ongoing fundraising for the England Deaf Rugby Union tour to South Africa, Sophie Lyon (20) is holding a Bingo evening the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum on Wednesday, October 9.

Doors open at 7pm with eyes down at 7.45pm. There will also be a prize raffle with lots of prizes.
Sophie, who is partially deaf and studying at Exeter College to become a Sports Therapist, is a keen rugby player and besides playing rugby for Crediton Cougers Ladies team, also helps to train the Under 13’s girls.
She has been picked to go on the England Deaf Rugby Union (EDRU) Women’s Squad tour to South Africa in May 2020.
