FAMILIES flocked to Bow Garden & Aquatic Centre during the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20 for the two-day Big Christmas Event.

Children were delighted to sing-along with Santa and could then visit him in his magical Winter Wonderland at the centre.

Children were in awe when they met Dory "the cutest fish in the world" and Elsa from "Frozen" who both made an appearance at the event and were happy to pose for photographs.

There were lots of fun and activities for the children to take part in.

The centre’s Waterside Café provided delicious food and customers could enjoy a glass of festive mulled wine along with some seasonal savoury and sweet treats on both days.

On the Sunday delicious roasts were served and the menu included a festive roast turkey and all the trimmings.
