THE Crediton Boniface Rotary Club has for many years brightened up the entrances to Crediton with floral displays at each major roadway and this year has improved the display with barrels full of flowers at the Downes House/Ladd’s Corner.

New barrels were purchased from Tucker’s Country Stores by Barny Butterfield of Sandford Orchards, who also painted them.

They have been filled with plants donated by Crediton Garden Centre (Homeleigh) and are being regularly watered by volunteer club Rotarians, which has been a challenge in the recent hot weather.
