MEMBERS of the Crediton and Area Branch of Devon Senior Voice were invited to rise from their seats and dance around the room, following ballet teacher, Fiona Bartlett.

Fiona, a fully-qualified ISTD dance teacher, joined us for our May meeting to demonstrate the gentle forms of movement, based on ballet, that over 55s can perform to gain flexibility, balance and increased stamina.

Her enthusiastic manner, encouraged all the members to take part.

She was warmly thanked by Chair, Carole Towler.

There followed the monthly committee meeting, during which the discussion focussed on the hand over to Devon Communities Together at the end of May.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at The Meadow Suite, Lords Meadow, from 2pm to 4pm.

Linda Buckle will be joining us to demonstrate her FLexercise routine. All over 50s are welcome.
