DEVON County Council’s Devon Alert service has advised that the A377 Cowley Bridge traffic lights outside Bernaville Nurseries have stopped working.

They were reported at 5.18pm today, Sunday, January 11, and Devon Alert said that contractors on behalf of South West Water who have been working there will be attending to fix them.

The temporary lights, in place for emergency work by SWW, are due to be in place until January 15.

There have been some long traffic delays reported during the last week due to the lights.

Devon County Council advised that the public allow extra time for journeys if passing along that stretch of the road between Crediton and Exeter.
