FOLLOWING performances of "Fearless Jack" in the Town Square in early September the Crediton Arts Centre is busy planning another short play for family audiences.

In place of a large eight-foot Giant there’s a helpful Jackdaw, a talking Cat, an unkindness of Crows and one, possibly two, large Cranes.

This will be performed in the Square as a part of Christmas in Crediton.

If you are over 16 and interested in making and operating large-scale puppets to feature in this new adaptation of a Russian folk tale, please contact Crediton Arts Centre.

In addition to puppet makers/operators, the Centre is looking for a young female actor to drive the story and defeat a nasty witch, Baba Yaga.

Alternatively, drop in for a chat on a Saturday morning at the Arts Centre between 10am and 11am, when a start will be made to create the puppet images.
