CHILDREN at Pippins Pre-School and Nursery in Crediton have been enjoying a project on the Space programme and the solar system based on British astronaut, Tim Peake.

The children have made 3D space ships, aliens, rockets and badges and have a picture of Tim Peake on their wall, plus a large feature of the solar system.

Some of the children have been wearing space suits for role play and have learned a lot thanks to Tim Peake.

Manager, Hazel Hodge, says the children have thoroughly enjoyed the project and have been most enthusiastic, and she is amazed at their knowledge at such a young age.
