AN Art Week at Landscore School in Crediton saw every pupil get involved, as well as all the staff and many families of the pupils.

The week concentrated on the works of Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890), who in just a decade created more than 2,100 artworks.

After the week of lessons and family art projects created at home, an exhibition of all the works completed was mounted at the school in the hall and every classroom.

Debbie Main, headteacher, said: “It was a fantastic week and some stunning artworks were created.

“The pupils learning together project and the family art project got everyone learning and working together and we are happy it was such a success.”
