THE Royal British Legion Crediton Branch annual lunch was held on Saturday, October 13 at the Three Little Pigs in Crediton with 30 people attending the two/three course meal.

A raffle was held which raised £45 for the commencement of the 2018 Poppy Appeal.

During the occasion John Shaw, President of the Branch, presented Mr Arnold Vosper with a Certificate of Appreciation.

Jane Sansom, Branch Treasurer, said it was for recognition of Arnold’s “many years of service as a Standard Bearer and for his continued support and dedication to the Legion and the Armed Forces Community” not only at Remembrance, but all-year-round.

She added: "The next event will be the AGM on Thursday, October 25 at Housing 21 Lounge, Newcombes, Crediton from 7pm for 7.30pm. New nominations welcome."
