QUICKES Traditional Ltd of Newton St Cyres celebrated National Apple Day by hosting a seasonal food fair on Sunday, October 27.

There was a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, those attending determined to enjoy a good time ahead of the storm expected to hit the South West that evening.

There was apple tasting, apple pressing, cheese demonstrations by Mary Quicke and many food stands, including hog roasts from Kenniford Farm and pasties from Cobley Farm.
