KEEN reader, Angeline Larouche (6½) received a Devon Library Service Gold Book Track Award at Crediton Library.

Crediton Library supervisor Béatrice Coveney presented the award certificate and badge to Angeline who has read 100 books since October 2016.

Her favourite books include the Famous Five and the Secret Seven adventures by Enid Blyton - being such a good reader has enabled her to help her 4½ brother to learn to read.

Angeline, who has been schooled at home since January, also enjoys maths and is a keen gardener growing vegetables and herbs from seed.

Since taking up sewing and embroidery Angeline has made a little jacket for her teddy.

There’s no stopping Angeline who has now set herself a target to read 200 books.
