FOR THEIR summer production members of Cheriton Fitzpaine Drama Group are paying tribute to what many people love best about radio comedy and drama.

Material featuring sketches from the BBC archives by Ronnie Barker, Laura Wade, Henry Venning and David Ramsden will be presented, together with some original material inspired by Radio Four, written by club members Sarah Steele and David Pink.

An impressive cast of An Evening in with Auntie has been assembled and will include Elly Babbedge, Roger Bellamy, Mike Beresford, Emma Cliffe-Duffield, Jim Cutler, Laura Kemp, Andy Norton, David Pink, Becky Smith, Sarah Steele, Lewis Woolacott and Sue Yeates.

The evening will be directed by Sarah Steele and produced by Emma Cliffe-Duffield. The sound system will be in the care of Rev Steven Smith.

There will be three opportunities to see the production, Thursday September 6, Friday September 7 and Saturday September 8, The show will start at 7.30pm each night.

Tickets are available from Cheriton Fitzpaine Village Store and will cost £5 each, £3 per child. The production is suitable for adults and children, aged 10 plus.
