SOME amazing plants, several unusual ones as well as good basic bedding plants and plants for bees were on the stalls at Crediton Garden Club’s spring plant sale.
Held at Crediton Library those on the plant stalls outside had an almost arctic morning, the coffee and cakes were served inside the Library where it was much warmer.
The sale was to help pay for speakers, some of whom charge up to £90. Plants had been donated by members and friends. Among them was a harts tongue fern, Dryopteris or wood fern and Kniphofia Caulescens or a red hot poker beloved by bees.
Among the stall holders was member Ann Cann who was featured in the March issue of "Garden News" for being a Plant Guardian for Plant Heritage.
