CREDITON Society CODS is this week treating audiences to “Spamalot” at QE Upper School in Western Road.

“Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life” is one of the songs audiences will be invited to sing along to at performances which began last night, Wednesday, October 26 and run to Saturday, October 29.

Performances begin at 7.30pm each evening and tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £12.50 for concessions.

Audiences may not understand the plot but can just sit back and enjoy some really great songs, some extremely well presented set and costumes, and try to stop laughing out loud.

From Wednesday, November 2 it is all change for CODS.

Many will have heard of the musicals “Godspell” and “Wicked” and it is Stephen Schwartz who also created “Children of Eden”, which CODS will deliver in April 2023.

It has enchanting music and a great storyline.

Anyone who is interested in trying their hand either on or off stage is invited to the first meeting in the Old Town Hall, Searle Street at 7.30pm on November 2.

The director, Heather Barlow and Musical Director, Allan Fouracre will be giving an introduction to the show and all are invited to go along if interested in being part of the production.
