A 40-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Crediton, and taken into custody, this morning, Tuesday, May 30.
The man had been travelling on the 9.43am Barnstaple to Exmouth service train on the Tarka Line.
He was reported to have been aggressive while on board the train.
British Transport Police Officers and Crediton Police Officers attended at Crediton Railway Station and the man was arrested at 10.19am, British Transport Police spokesman told the “Crediton Courier”.
British Transport Police said on social media site “Twitter” that the man was wanted and was also under investigation for threatening rail staff.
The spokesman said that enquiries were “on-going” and said that if anyone had any information, it would be welcomed.
