AGE Concern Crediton has now finished its free weekly fish and chips delivery to clients in their homes.
The service operated for several months during lockdown and the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic while the Age Concern Centre at Deep Lane in Crediton has been closed.
It served about 50 people each week and was funded by the many local clubs, organisations and individuals.
Age Concern Crediton would like to say thank you to Chef’s Choice for donating the last free fish and chip delivery.
Bev Whaley, Centre Manager, said: "We would also like to take this opportunity in thanking all those who supported this service with funding, to be able to provide such a key service every Friday to our elderly community since starting on April 24."
She added: "The Charity is very grateful for the continuing support it has received during Covid-19."
