AVID reader Abigail Baptist (10) received a Devon Library Service Gold Book Track Award at Crediton Library after she finished reading her 100th book.

The award certificate and badge were presented to Abigail by Crediton Library supervisor, Sue Lee.

Abigail is a pupil at Hayward’s Primary School where she enjoys learning English and Maths.

She loves to read crime fiction by her favourite author Agatha Christie, especially the Hercule Poirot series. David Suchet is her favourite actor in the role of the fictional detective Hercule Poirot.

In her spare time, Abigail enjoys dancing and swimming.
