DEVON County Council has put in place an emergency road closure on the A396 between Bickleigh Bridge and Tiverton near Ashley due to a collapse of the road during the late evening yesterday, Thursday, October 19.
The council says that the road is likely to remain closed to enable the road works for at least one week.
It advises the public to please follow diversions and says do not drive through or remove closures as they are there for public safety.
