ON Friday, April 14 it was raining again for Crediton Walk and Talk but a small group of us ventured out, not on the intended walk as we have several wet weather walks in reserve.
Starting from the Leisure Centre, the group attracted by the aroma of cider from Sandford Orchards passed their premises and turned to climb a muddy footpath to eventually pass over the link road and descend down to cross over the A377 and called in at Mole Avon to enjoy a cake and coffee.
After the break with the weather improving we made our way towards the Station, Four Mills Lane, Tolley's and returned back to the Leisure Centre.
Crediton Walk and Talk group meet fortnightly at the Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 9.45am.
Walks start from the Leisure Centre or nearby and take around 90 minutes, covering about three miles.
Anyone is welcome and walks are free to join.
Well-behaved dogs are also welcome, as long as they are kept on a short lead.
The next walk is on Friday, April 28.
