A GOOD display of produce and cookery plus crafts greeted folk who enjoyed the excellent tea at this year’s Stockleigh Pomeroy Harvest Fayre that ended with a barbecue in the evening.
Held in the village hall entries were good and so was the quality. Judges were Dave and Sarah Fox from Cheriton Fitzpaine.
The fayre was held in the new Village Hall with its views out over fields and the most attractive beamed roof.
Prizewinners were: Kathy Bainbridge, Holly Belsher, Jenny Bucanan, Heather Chadwick, Millie Gill, Lola Gill, June Hill, Emma Hill, Fiona Hine, Tracey Hooper, Colin Hooper, Margaret Huntly, James Huntly, Ann Huxtable, Ian Huxtable, Sue Lewis, Rosemary Meikle, Martin Meikle, Zara Rogers and Victoria Smiley (Huntly).
A coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support is to be held in the Village Hall on September 8 from 10am to 1pm.
