Pictured are Jan Parsons, right and Jill Doe, two of the co-ordinators of the River of Poppies at Lapford Parish Church. They are seen here putting on even more poppies hand-made by the ladies of the village. Almost 2,000 were made, either knitted or crocheted in different designs. Joan Graham also arranged strings of poppies around both the font and the pulpit.
