THE North Creedy Choral Society will begin its new term in September when it will begin preparing for the Christmas Concert which will take place on Saturday, December 9 at Holy Cross Church, during the Christmas Tree Festival.

The concert will tell the Christmas story through music and readings from down the ages, including excerpts from "The Christmas Story" by Schütz, J S Bach’s "Sleeper’s Wake", Handel’s "Messiah" and "Elijah" by Mendelssohn.

People who like to sing are invited along to the first rehearsal at Crediton Methodist Church at 7.30pm on Monday, September 4, or any subsequent Monday.

The Society’s Spring Concert will be on Saturday, April 21, 2018. The main work will be Beethoven’’s Mass in C and there will also be popular items for a "Last Night of the Proms".
