THERE is so much to do for young people in the Crediton area:

THE Turning Tides Project aims to make equal access to music, arts and the life of our community a reality for people, of all ages, with "learning disability" or "autism" labels.

Everything we do seeks to demonstrate the application of a Social Model Approach.

The Turning Tides Project.
The Turning Tides Project. (The Turning Tides Project.)

We firmly believe that, in an accessible environment, everyone can access every opportunity and follow their dreams.

We lead community workshops, provide one-to-one support for a growing population of young people who are home schooled, facilitate music sessions in both mainstream and "special" schools across Devon.

We offer arts sessions, tech sessions, sports sessions, outdoor sessions and lots more.

We asked one young person what it means to be part of one of our projects: "It means stability and being included. I can do what I love...And I'm supported so I can actually achieve it!"
